EECE Undergraduate Courses

The Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education (EECE) has two undergraduate programs, Elementary (P-5) and Birth through Five. The Elementary (P-5) program prepares students to teach in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade classrooms. The Birth through Five major includes a traditional concentration and a Montessori concentration. Both concentrations are for individuals who have a desire to instruct and work with infants, toddlers, preschool, and kindergarten children. For more information, click on the links below:

Offsite Programs

Paulding Site

The Paulding County Site 2 + 2 program is a partnership with Georgia Highlands College (GHC) that allows students to take their entire Elementary (P-5) program at the Paulding County Site in Dallas, GA. In this partnership, students complete their Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education through GHC at Paulding. Upon graduation from GHC, students enter KSU's Elementary (P-5) program at Paulding. From their very first course through student teaching, students are able to complete all of their course work in Paulding County. For more information, see the links below.
